Our History
In the year 2003, Travelpride Gay Vacations was concepted around the idea to give gay and lesbian couples and singles an alternative to large ship all-gay cruises. Our focus instead was to offer smaller, more personalized all-gay cruises that would take our guests to new and exciting destinations.
As 2004 approached, a new look for Travelpride was born. A new refreshed company website, updated logo and brand new marketing materials were a big part of our new vision for Travelpride. Not long after, our two river cruise vacations (Holland + Belgium and Southern France) were announced and marketed and advertised nationally throughout the United States, Canada, UK and Australia.
We are dedicated to helping gay and lesbian travelers see the world in the comfort of a smaller, more personalized all-gay cruise environment.
Our cruises are designed from the feedback of our clients, travel agent professionals along with a proprietary focus group. While opinions differed from each of our groups on destinations, one common theme that kept recurring was the need to see a new destination in the comfort of a smaller, all-gay cruise that provided the opportunity to meet fellow passengers on elegantly appointed ships.
We do our research before we offer an all-gay cruise vacation.
When we create an all-gay cruise vacation, we scrutinize everything. From the itinerary to the dining menus -- nothing is left untouched. We want to make sure everything is customized and designed to be a totally unique and totally different cruise vacation. We also want to make sure that the destinations we visit are gay-welcoming as well as safe. This is why a member of our staff will always do a cruise and itinerary inspection prior to public offering.
We also know how important personalized and prompt service is to you when planning a well deserved all-gay vacation. Although we are not as large as some of the other all-gay tour operators, we are big on providing prompt and courteous service. We'll be happy to help you the best we can.
